 Never and Always - Cover
BOOK SYNOPSIS
Deputy sheriff Russ Riley, the player of Verde County, carries a terrible secret that stands in the way of a happy life with Angie Baxter, the spirited victim of a rash of violent crimes, whom he will protect, serve…and worship.
NEVER AGAIN
Angie Baxter is strong, sweet, and fiercely independent. She not only divorced her violent husband but rescued and raised his abused son, and she fulfilled a dream of running her own handmade soap and cosmetics shop. No man will ever again rule her existence or hold sway over the people she loves-no matter if he’s brave, handsome, and all that stands between her and a band of ruthless criminals.
UNTIL IT’S FOR GOOD

EXCERPT

Russ got a beer out of the refrigerator, wandered into the living room and plopped down, sandy shorts and all, on the old leather sofa.
Thankfully he wasn’t scheduled to work tomorrow-it was already after two and after his evening with Angie, he was seriously going to want to sleep in. They had used the rest of the condoms and played in the shallows and eaten the rest of the cookies and, true to her word, Angie made no pretense that the evening was any more than another one-night stand with him.
She thanked him for the evening and disappeared into her little house without looking back, as though she had already filed the night away under ‘a good time was had by all’. Which is exactly what he wanted her to do, he reminded himself when Louie jumped up on his lap and stuck his face in Russ’s gritty chest hair.
So why did the situation irritate the hell out of him?
Because you’re hung up on the woman, he admitted to himself as the cold beer washed down the back of his throat. Because you can’t get her out of your mind and you don’t like that. Because you could get serious about her and there is no way you will ever be able to give her what she wants most in this life.
So there would be no repeat of tonight. It didn’t matter how attracted he was to her or how good the sex was, he needed to stay as far away from Angie Baxter as he possibly could.

BOOK INFORMATION

TITLE – The Ticket AUTHOR – Christine Schimpf GENRE – Inspirational Romance PUBLICATION DATE – May 7, 2015 LENGTH (Pages/# Words) – 27,819 words 215 pages PUBLISHER – CreateSpace COVER ARTIST – Christine Schimpf

The Ticket - Cover
If you enjoy Downton Abbey and Mr. Selfridge, you’ll fall in love with… The Ticket.
A Heart Torn in Two Between True Love and one for The Ship Of Dreams, The Titanic!
Margaret Reardon vowed to leave Belfast. Her appetite for adventure helps her get hired as one of eighteen stewardesses on the ship everyone’s talking about, Titanic.
Joseph Flanagan is all business at Anderson and McAuley. His fight is against time to prepare Titanic for her maiden voyage. But time stops the day Margaret walks into the store changing Joseph’s perspective forever.
Two lives collide igniting a spark neither one can deny, revealing a truth that changes everything.

EXCERPT

Margaret ran a slender finger along the edge of the ticket. Pleased with what she’d accomplished, she smiled. In two weeks, she’d sail on the liner that everyone in Belfast was talking about—the Titanic.
She’d won the approval of her parents to journey as one of eighteen stewardesses, which was no easy feat. She recalled the lines that etched Mum’s face when she told her she wanted to apply for one of the positions. It was Papa who granted her the permission she needed. In exchange, she’d promised both of her parents and Joseph, that upon her return, she’d marry and settle down.
Joseph, she breathed. Just saying his name brought a smile to her face. Delicious warmth spread deep inside all the way to her very fingertips as she thought of him. Yet, uncertainty about everything hung in the air creating a tightrope. It would be tempting to be in New York with all of its opportunities in retail. Joseph had told her she had a natural talent when it came to merchandising, and she’d proven herself at the store, especially her work on the display window to attract Titanic’s passengers. Even she was beginning to believe she possessed a marketable talent in the industry.
She ran her fingers across the words, “Permission Granted to Board ‘R.M.S. Titanic.’ Her breath caught. She could hardly wait.

This Valentine's Day let Oliver bring you flowers.

The Flower Box contemporary romance from Hot Ink Press by Elodie Parkes
...It’s romantic – with a special sort of whimsical feel to it.  So… dreamlike.  Their path to happily ever after was intimate, erotic and full of a romantic passion.  The author created two characters that stick with you long after you’ve finished reading the last page.  Her story building was done to perfection, and I’m thrilled to have gotten the chance to experience this wonderful book.

Alice’s assistant gave a low whistle as Oliver left the shop. She went to stand next to Alice and they both watched Oliver as he passed the big windowpane. It wasn’t easy because of the light inside and almost dusk out, but they both stared.

“Wow, where did he come from? I’ve not seen a guy as gorgeous as him in a long time.”

Her assistant made a face at Alice, which she interpreted as conveying huge appreciation of the man who’d just bought flowers.

Alice took a deep breath and let it out in a sigh. “He’ll be married. Probably have three kids. The flowers are for his wife, for sure. No one like him will be single. You’re right, Joyce, he’s gorgeous. Made me tremble, looking at me with those lovely blue eyes. I could barely tie the flower bunch for staring at his mouth. I hope he didn’t notice. He took off quickly, probably thought I was about to fall at his feet. Look he left his change.” She opened her hand to show Joyce the coins.

Joyce pursed her lips. “Maybe he was just in a hurry. Give it to me I’ll put it in the charity collection.” She held her hand out and Alice put the money into her palm.

She watched as Joyce fed the coins into the animal shelter’s collection box.
“It would be so nice to have someone like him to go home to.” Her voice was wistful as she walked past Joyce and started tidying the counter. They would be open for a couple more hours, and she liked to keep the place looking good.

Joyce grinned. “He might be gorgeous, but he could be horrible, grumpy, snore, or something. Maybe he’s bought the flowers to say sorry for something he did such as...” She stopped talking as two customers came through the door.

Alice greeted them.

Tom found a new job, but can he find love?
Working in a surf coast hotel seems like the remedy for his previous unhappiness, but as Valentine’s Day approaches, Tom realizes he’s lonely, and looks around for someone to love.

" I totally understand why the heroine was reluctant to reveal her secret until she knew Tom’s feelings toward her, and it added a level of intimacy to the story for me as a reader, watching their relationship progress. And we are talking about Elodie Parkes so, of course, the sex between these two is off the charts. Maybe it is because they secretly pined after each other for months or maybe it will always be that way for Tom and Serena, but they burn up the sheets together.
This was a great short story, filled with so much emotion I was sad when it ended so quickly." 4 shining stars from Readers' Favorite reviews.

So what’s hot about Tom the leading man?

He’s good looking, but he doesn’t know it. Has dark hair, dark blue eyes, with the kind of hard muscled body that makes you tingle when you see him naked. He’s intelligent, a risk taker and yet was burned badly in the past by an ex-girlfriend. It shook him.
Now he’s over it, he thinks…

Teaser #NSFW WARNING 18+ ONLY
Tom grasped her hips as she hovered close to his erect cock and then her fingers closed around the shaft and guided the head to the wet entrance of her pussy. Tom felt a frown of need furrow his head. It was painful waiting to feel his cock start to enter her. Her pussy was wet. The head of his cock slipped against it as she circled her hips. He wanted to push his fingers into her. He licked his top lip overwhelmed with the need to thrust his tongue into her pussy too. He moaned.
Then she was sheathing his cock with her pussy. He held her hips, desperate to pull her down hard and fast, but wanting the slow enveloping of his cock just as much.
She leaned her face to his as she sat down on his cock. She kissed him softly with the tip of her tongue just a tease on his.
His cock leaked in her. It was hard to breathe and stop from coming. Sweat beaded on his forehead. He groaned into her mouth.

“Please. This is killing me.” He felt her smile against his lips.

Deep Dream, #erotic #PNR releases today from @HotInkBooks #midweektease from this sizzling #vampire love story

Midweek teaser for hot new release Deep Dream

He gazed into her eyes.

Anna soaked up the sight of him. His eyes so blue, fringed with dark lashes, the planes of his handsome face and the perfectly kissable lips were such a lethally gorgeous combination the pleasure of looking at him was almost painful. She sighed with the need to touch him, kiss him, feel his hands on her, and even to her ears, her sigh sounded desperate. She lifted his hand to press it to her breast.
Ethan flicked his gaze to their clasped hands on her body. When he brought his eyes back to look into hers, his expression had changed.

The sexual heat in his darkened eyes sent a melting sensation from her stomach to her knees. Anna wanted Ethan so badly the words simply spilled from her lips as she moistened them with the tip of her tongue.
“Come home with me.”

Ethan’s nod was so slight she nearly didn’t catch it, but then his arm was around her and she was floating toward the club exit.

They were on the street. The bright lights glittered hot pink, white, and amber along the sidewalk from the late-night clubs and bars. They passed a coffee shop and Ethan hailed a cab that was about to pull away from the curb.
“My place is nearby. Will you come home with me?” He opened the back door of the cab.

Anna nodded, unable to speak as he bent close to kiss her neck.

EXCERPT

“What were you thinking?”
Ash narrowed his gaze at Harris. “There’s a serial killer out there. A powerful and dangerous one.”
His brother paced in front of him while Ash sat on a chair too small for his build outside of the bedroom.
The bedroom that held a currently enraged Lila. The crashes of furniture had stopped only a short while ago. It seemed no one had noticed that Lila had gone. Her family, according to Harris, had assumed she’d retreated to bed. They were, as his brother said, a little scatter-brained.
He couldn’t deny he had come to that conclusion from his short acquaintance with them, but Harris spent more time in society so his opinion was likely correct.
So that at least gave him time to decide what to with Miss Lila Radley.
Pin her to the bed and kiss away her fury?
He smirked to himself. No. Tempting as that was, he suspected that would only increase her ire. Since she’d awoken from her faint, she’d been full of fire. He wouldn’t tell her that he had enjoyed picking up her soggy form and carrying her to his brother’s carriage far more than he should have done. He also certainly wouldn’t mention how she’d curled a hand around his neck and burrowed herself against him.
He released a sigh. If it wasn’t enough he’d already near fallen for her on sight, she was now appealing to his need to protect. There was nothing quite like being needed by the opposite sex. And when she’d tucked her face into his neck, he’d been lost.

SNIPPET

He reached down and lifted me up and I kissed his jaw, chin and then placed small kisses down his neck. I slanted my mouth to capture his and his hand curled around my body pulling me against him. He lifted his head for one moment to glance into my eyes. I drew a breath and held it before he planted his lips onto mine, again.
Desire. Need. Want. Complete love.
A cool breeze swept across me as the warmth of his body left mine and he reached to the hem of my dress pulling it up and lifting it over my head.

Summer night, the club balcony doors are open. The dance music thumps. The beautiful people arrive.
Sascha watches from his table, drink in hand, he's already quenched his most desperate thirst. Now he's looking for someone special. Will he find her?

'From the minute I met out hero Sascha, I was intrigued and a bit in love. He has an old world quality that endears you, and when you discover his secret… you understand why.'
                           5 star review on GR

The idea for the story came to me on one of my work trips when I passed a spooky old hotel place with a sign hanging outside like one of those old Highwayman type inns. The words, ‘The Black Lion’ were written on the sign, but there was no picture, and the place itself could have been anything. Paint peeled off the big door and there were no lights on inside, even though it was twilight and quite dark because of the rainy weather.
In the story, I describe the doors, but the peeling paint becomes old posters for bands that have played in my version of a club, ‘The Black Lion.’
The title is also a pun on the nature of one of the characters.
