Relentless Pursuit available now for a special release price!

Desire unlocks the door to a new world, but she never expected to find him on the other side.

Julian Anders has a way of making women drop to their knees. He's fierce, domineering, and knows what he wants in the bedroom. He craves total submission. His busy life doesn't allow him the luxury of traditional dating. He doesn't want it and doesn't need it. He makes no apologies until Kayla Quinn, his best friend's younger sister, shows up at the exclusive club where he finds his companions.

Kayla has been unsuccessful in love and is tired of waiting for the one. When a friend introduces her to an upscale club that caters in matchmaking without the commitment, she decides to try it. She requests a mature, dominant man, but she never bargained for what happens next.

Julian is enraged to find Kayla interested in men like him. Men who have no desire to commit. She's not the club's typical client. He's known her for years but stayed away despite his strong attraction to her. He decides the only way to save her from a potential disaster is to pursue her himself. Can she handle his darker side? The one she never knew existed? Perhaps he's finally met his match…both in and out of the bedroom.

Content Warning: contains explicit sex, adult content, and BDSM themes

Available on all other eBook platforms too!

"You feel something between us. I can't believe that of all the clubs I could have gone to, I found the one you own. That has to mean something," Kayla said.

"Coincidence." Julian's dismissive tone discouraged her, but she wasn't going to give up.

"Romantic."

"Definitely not that." He shook his head as he pressed his lips in a hard line. "Not from me."

He was too much of a guy to admit he could do romance. Connie had told her women didn't seek him out for a nice time. No, they wanted a wickedness they could remember for a lifetime. Kayla craved to know the things Julian desired. She wanted to be the woman he took them from with no apologies and no exceptions.

"It's getting late," he said. "I should get you home."

"I can be her," she blurted out, because she wasn't going to let this opportunity slip through her fingers. She didn't believe in coincidence. She had to seize the moment.

"Who?"

"Whoever you seek out on your application. Let me try to be her for you."

"If I hadn't overindulged you in champagne, would you be this courageous with me?" He tilted her chin, holding her still as she pondered his question. "Be truthful, and not just for me. You owe it to yourself to be honest."

"I drank too much, but what I'm saying is true."

"You don't know what you're saying." He kissed the tip of her fingers before releasing her from his hold. "Even if you believe it to be true. That's a big problem for me."

"Why won't you give me a chance?"

"Because you're not the woman for me."

Ouch! Not even the alcohol could numb that sting.

"How do you know?" According to Connie, he gave complete strangers his undivided attention when he was matched in the past. What was wrong with her?

"I've been doing this for a long time." He sighed. "It's not you, it's me."

"Seriously? You're going to go with that line?"

"I'm sorry if I misled you. I shouldn't have allowed you to think I was going to take this any further."

"I don't understand."

"You're young, vibrant, witty, charming, and funny." He took her hands in his. "You don't need to be here. You don't need men like me. Whatever happened in college with those guys, it's in the past. You'll find what you're looking for. Give it some time."

"That's not for you to decide."

"It is tonight." He released her and took his cell from his pocket. "I'll have Francis, my driver, bring the car around. He'll take you home."

"You can't dismiss me. I won't let you."

"I just did." He placed a soft kiss on her forehead, and damn her, she still wanted more from him. "I want you to go home now. I'll see to it you get there safely."

"Save your call, Mr. Anders. I can grab a cab."

"I'd rather you not."

"I don't care what you'd rather." She grabbed her shoes from the floor and her clutch before heading for the door. She didn't have to stand there and be humiliated by him. "I'm perfectly capable of seeing myself home."

"You drank too much. I'd feel better if you didn't leave here alone."

"Maybe you should have thought about what you wanted to do with me before you kept filling my glass." Take that, Mr. Insensitive!

"Kayla." He raised his voice. "Don't push me."

"Actually, your firm tone isn't going to work on me." She opened the door. "Considering I'm not that woman."

Caught on Camera

Forgotten starlet Georgia Evans is finally back in the spotlight—when a naked romp with her ex goes viral. Not the kind of publicity she was hoping for, particularly when it brings up memories she’d rather forget. And catches the attention of someone unexpected…
Despite having his pick of projects, heartthrob Cole Anderson stuns Hollywood by turning down a new blockbuster in favor of a web serial, of all things. But only if Georgia gets the female lead. She needs the money; he needs a chance to apologize…and maybe get reacquainted with the one who got away.
But life in the limelight often reveals things best kept hidden, and Georgia has a secret that may force her to choose between the career she’s trying to rebuild—and the man she’s learning to love all over again.

EXCERPT

“Anderson. My office. Now.” Ethan stormed down the glass-walled hallway before Cole could say anything else to the receptionist. His expression was decidedly stormy, and Cole felt his hackles rising when faced with the obvious aggression of the other man.
“Is there a problem?” He slid his hands into his pockets and rocked back on his heels, but he wasn’t feeling casual. He didn’t like being challenged, didn’t like the lack of control he felt when he lost. Probably because of how often he’d actually been out of control in his wilder days.
Back when he’d been with Georgia.
“There’s something.” Ethan gestured to his office with one arm. “Let’s go have a chat.” Cole eyed the other man narrowly, but nodded and followed Ethan away from the front desk.
“So what’s with the theatrics?” Cole noted that Kevin Hawke, the hot new director who was supposed to be in on this meeting as well, wasn’t in Ethan’s office. His spidey senses were tingling—something was off.
“You haven’t heard?” Ethan arched an eyebrow, then grinned, but the expression was sinister and Cole didn’t care for it.
“Spit it out, Black.” His voice was flat. The only big event in his life recently was the breakup with Regina, and Cole highly doubted that Ethan gave a shit about that.
Ethan rubbed his hand over his face and pulled out his phone. “So how’s that girlfriend of yours?”
“I don’t know.” Cole glanced at Ethan from the corner of his eye. It was a weird question—usually the producer was all business. “We broke up.”
“I’m not surprised.” Ethan swiped his screen and smirked. He held up his phone, the screen facing Cole, and turned up the volume.
A chorus of moans and the wet sound of flesh slapping against flesh emanated from the small device. Cole would have rolled his eyes at Ethan—why was the producer showing him porn, anyway?—except something about the scene caught and held his attention.
A leanly muscled young man mounted a slender woman from behind. His hands fisted in her chestnut waves as he slowly fucked in and out of her, the curves of her ass jiggling every time he bottomed out inside of her.
Cole didn’t have much need for porn—he had women clamoring for his attention day and night. Still, he felt his cock start to thicken as he watched the scene playing out.
Christ, he was acting like a fucking teenager. Shifting uncomfortably, he redirected his focus to the hotel room surrounding the couple. Opulent, cream-colored satin sheets on a massive bed, a chandelier overhead, a panoramic sheet of glass in place of a wall…
“I know that hotel.” The Kingston Oceanside had once been one of his favorite places to party and then crash. He hadn’t been there in years.
“Gee, you think?” Ethan cackled as he tilted the phone to watch with Cole, who frowned as the couple of the bed shifted position. Ringing started to reverberate loudly in his ears as the man onscreen pulled out of the woman’s heat, turning her over so that she lay on her back, her inner thighs braced on his shoulders as he thrust himself back inside of her.
“Look at the camera, baby. Show everyone how pretty you are.” The woman did as she was told, moaning as she let her head hang off the side of the bed. Delicate, china-doll features, long waves of minky hair, miles of creamy skin that he’d know anywhere.
And that voice. The voice encouraging her to show off.
It was his own fucking voice.
“What the ever-loving fuck, Ethan?” This was what the reporters outside had mentioned. He just hadn’t known what they were talking about. “Where the hell did you get your hands on this?”

Falling in love with a prisoner was against the rules.

So why was Lark allowing herself to get close to Raynor? He was domineering, cocky and much too handsome for his own good. Though her mind found him unbearable, her body was ready to endure anything he could deliver. However, inside of him lived a darkness unlike anything she’d ever witnessed. If the rumors were true, that darkness would consume any and everyone in its path. Lark was going to try her best to stay out of his way.
They called him The Destroyer.
Raynor Batiste was many things: a monster, a killer, one of the most feared creatures in the galaxy. He was a beast whose name sent shudders through his enemies. However, a prisoner he was not. He’d only allowed himself to be captured so he could get close to his mate, Lark Valdese.
That task was proving harder than he’d anticipated. Lark is afraid of what lives inside of him, and she should be. Yet, when her planet comes under attack, the evil lurking within him may be the only thing that can save her and her people. He’s willing to protect her planet, but his aid comes at a price, a price only Lark can pay.
Will Beauty give in to the Beast in order to save her world? Or will she learn that the monster inside of him is the reason her planet is being destroyed?

EXCERPT

A low growl reverberated through his chest. She halted on the stairs and glanced over her shoulder at him. She’d caught him staring. That was something she was going to have to get used to. He would never grow tired of staring at her. It was within his rights to do so, that, and much more. A blush crept up her neck, proving she wasn’t as immune to him as she pretended to be. “Take your eyes off my ass,” she ordered. “Where would you have me stare?” “Anywhere, but my ass. You know what, move, get in front of me.” She pressed her back to the wall, making room for him to move in front. Chuckling, he did as he was asked. His little mate, so used to giving orders. He couldn’t wait to turn the tables on her, to teach her what it was like to give in, to submit. “Hurry up,” she ordered. “Why are you always in a rush?” he called over his shoulder. “Because I have somewhere else to be.” He paused. “Where?” “With a friend.” Raynor turned around. Her eyes widened once their gazes met. He knew the darkness he was trying to hide was slipping free, spilling into his eyes. He couldn’t help it. His mate was in a rush to be rid of him so she could step into the arms of another. “Raynor, your eyes…” “What friend?” “Why do they swirl like that?” Because I’m close to losing it. “What friend?” “Why?” “What. Friend?” Lark rolled her eyes. He could sense how nervous she was. His brave mate hid it well. “Not friend, friends.” “More than one,” he snarled. Stars, what type of female was he mated to? “Of course.” He would kill them all. “How many?” He stepped forward. He needed their names. Where did they dwell? They would all die before the next solar flare. She stepped back, shrugging. “Ten maybe.” Ten? Ten! “The females here seem to pop out babies the way humans of Earth do.” Babies? “What?” “The nursery. I want to go there before they lock down for the waning.” “The babies are your friends? You mean, little ones?” “Yes, and we call them babies here. The babies and their mothers are my friends. I like checking on them.” Forehead creased, she placed her hands on her hips. “Do you have a problem with that?” Raynor grinned, finding it easier to breathe now. “No problems here.” Little ones. She liked little ones. Could his mate be any more perfect? He turned and continued his trek up the stairs, not wanting to keep his mate from her 'friends'.

Then Seth Callahan and Leave Me Breathless is just what you're looking for you.

Seth Callahan is the type of guys that makes you weak in the knees with just one smoldering look. He knows how to treat a woman both in the bedroom and out. Although he's wealthy and can have anything he wants, he's not one to flaunt it. He's humble and down to Earth, someone that appreciates the little things as well as the finer things in life.

And boy does that man know how to turn a woman on. His kisses are extraordinary, this fingers, mouth and tongue are extremely talented, but it's his words that will have you swooning like no other.

Rosanna is strong, independent woman that has needs. At first she a little scared about the desires that are awakened after just one kiss from Seth, but I love how she takes control and goes after him. But you can't help but love how she stays true to herself no matter what, at all cost. That's a woman you can't help but love.

Passion exudes off each and every page. I couldn't put this book down until the end, but even then I didn't want to let these two go. I highly recommend to have a cold shower on standby for when you finish this sensual, erotic love story!

UnpredictableLove_Kindle

TITLE – Unpredictable Love SERIES (& Book #) – Pine Grove Novels, Book #1 AUTHOR – Jean C. Joachim GENRE – Contemporary Small Town Romance LENGTH (#Pages/# Words) – 47,000 Words

Uh oh. Amber signed her sister’s name on a pen pal letter to a Marine. As usual, Jory Walker was stuck fixing her sister’s little white lie.
When letters poured in from SSGT Trent Stevens in Afghanistan, Jory had no choice but to correspond. Sure he’d be drooling over Amber’s bikini photo, thinking it was Jory. Since they’d never meet, what harm could it do if she sent him a few letters?
Would her charade boomerang replacing happiness with pain? What started off as an innocent ruse, morphed into a monstrous web of deceit. Maybe unpredictable love was destined to break her heart.

EXCERPT

With patience, she’d fitted them together to form the image of a man she could almost touch.
Sometimes, she’d reread three or four before turning out the light. She’d tacked his picture on the wall next to her bed. He was the last thing she saw before falling asleep and the first thing in the morning. Jory had planned to wind down the correspondence, but every day she eagerly awaited mail delivery, and a new peek into the mystery man who had inched his way into her heart.
Admitting she had feelings for SSGT Trent Stevens wouldn’t happen. Jory wasn’t some foolish schoolgirl with a crush on a handsome Marine. She was a grown woman, who had been shouldering the responsibilities of an adult since she was seventeen. Her head wouldn’t be turned by a few letters and some fancy words. She was above that. Or so she thought.
***************************
Amber leaned against the doorjamb. “Uh, it’s after six, and I don’t see any dinner on the stove.”
Jory’s lips compressed into a frown. She rose from her desk, fueled by anger. “You’ve got a lotta nerve. I’m up here beating my brains out, writing four Goddamn letters to Trent Stevens. Letters you should be writing! And you’re asking about dinner? Here’s the deal. You want me to write, fine. But you’ve gotta cook.”
“Me?” Amber pointed at her own, ample chest.
Jory nodded.
“Really? I can’t cook.”
“Then learn, damn it. It’s about time you did anyway.”
“And if I don’t?” A sassy look crossed her sister’s face, and she rested one hand on her hip.
“I’ll write to Staff Sergeant Trent Stevens and tell him you’re a fraud. Then, I’ll report you to Laura Dailey. They’ll drum you outta town.”
“You wouldn’t do that.” Amber frowned, but Jory saw uncertainty in her eyes.
The older one narrowed her eyes. “Try me.”
Amber chewed her lip. “Okay, okay. But not every night.”
“Three nights a week.”
“Three?” Amber’s voice shot up two octaves.
“That’s right. Like it or lump it.”
Amber made a face and huffed down the stairs. Jory broke into a smile as soon as her sister was out of sight. That’ll teach her. Besides, she needs to learn to cook and pull her weight around here.

Available July 2 from Hot Ink Press

Please note trigger: Whilst this story does not feature domestic abuse, there is a description of a past abusive relationship from the heroine.

Read a teaser:
Jake drove to the Candy Apple and found a park in the lot they provided. There was no valet parking there. The Candy Apple was a semi-secretive place. Once a gentlemen’s club, the building ranged over four floors, though the basement floor wasn’t generally obvious, Jake knew about it. The exterior was verging on vintage, but an incredibly bright awning festooned the entry and extended to the wide first floor window where the coffee bar was situated. Over the top of the awning and around the shallow porch, shocking pink and white neon lights cast their glow onto the sidewalk. The steps leading to the front door shimmered under these lights and when it rained had the appearance of a surreal waterfall. No one entered the club unless they were a member. It seemed that introduction by a current member was the only way to join.
Jake strode along the white paved path leading from the parking lot and that joined the main street sidewalk. He ran up the short stoop of the club building, and met the security on the door. They knew him, but glanced at his membership card anyway.
“Good evening, Sir.”
He grinned at them. “Hi, is the place busy?”
“Not yet. Have a pleasant night.”
He smiled as he took the wide hall that led into the low-lit main room.
Jake sank gratefully onto the couch and stretched out his long legs. He leaned against the sumptuous, leather backrest to wait for midnight. His heartbeat practically matched the low thump of bass in the dance music seeping from the adjacent room. A sudden burst of the melody assailed his ears as the door opened and someone came through. He avoided the glance of the solitary man who passed him and studied the toes of his boots considering Ellie.
For the last five weeks, each Saturday night, Jake had watched her arrive at the club around twelve, sit quietly at one of the tables for an hour, and then leave. Initially, she’d been introduced to the place by a couple who were long-term members of the elite sex club—the Candy Apple. As far as Jake knew she hadn’t hooked up with anyone, and that intrigued him. He’d heard that she was looking for a Dom, but it appeared no one here appealed to her, because he’d seen her decline advances repeatedly. All the same, that rumor had stopped him approaching her so far. Maybe she’s not looking for a Dom at all, which would be good. Maybe she just needs the right guy to approach her...
He thought about her lovely face and the way her long hair caressed her bare shoulders as she sat at the table as if waiting. She always wore such clingy dresses it was easy to see the shape of her body. He’d watched as she walked, savored the gentle curve of her hips, licked his lips at the sight of her peaked nipples in the air-conditioned room. His fingers itched to roll those peaks. He ached to kiss her pretty mouth.

Read a teaser
“Where’s the usual guy?” Tom Wells signed for the alcohol delivery on the PDA, and then stepped back into the shelter of the overhanging roof at the back entrance of the Candy Apple. Rain fell in sheets from a sky so gray it turned early morning into twilight.
The man before him slipped the electronic device under his yellow rain jacket and answered as he turned to leave. “Taken ill—it’s serious by all accounts—might not be back for a long time, if ever. Did you know him well?”
Concern put a frown between Tom’s eyes. “Not really, but Joe’s been delivering here for years. All the time I’ve managed the bar, in fact. I hope he gets better. Will you be doing his rounds in future?”
“Nah, just today, there’ll be a new guy next week. He’s taking over from Joe.” He pulled the peak of his baseball cap down a little as a gust of wind threatened to take it from his head. “I’ll get going. Have a good one.” He spun around and sprinted to the truck parked in the narrow entrance of the delivery yard.
As the guy hauled ass into the drivers’ seat, the wet yellow jacket glimmered when a car sped by with its headlights on full beam in the dirty weather. The truck roared into life, trundled onto the sidewalk, and then joined the stream of traffic as the lights changed at the intersection allowing the buildup of commuters to forge on toward their workplaces.
Tom closed the door, and went to update the inventory, before he drove home to get some rest before his evening shift started.

From @naomi_jay and @evernightpub #newrelease #PNR Night and Chaos

Welcome to guest author Naomi Clark

I love a good reunited lovers story. There's so much scope for drama and emotion, misunderstandings, rediscovery, and good old-fashioned lust. NIGHT AND CHAOS has all those things, as Ryan is thrown back together with Jackson, the man she abandoned six years ago. You'll learn her reasons for doing so...Whether she can convince herself and Jackson that she made the right choice is another story!

Ryan and Jackson's journey is only just beginning, and I've got two more books to write before they get their ending (happy or otherwise...), but I hope this first book will persuade you to come on that journey with them.

Blurb
Ryan's past isn't just haunting her. It's trying to kill her.

Ryan McCarthy fled Kimberlyn Island, her father, and her lover six years ago, desperate to build a life away from the weird science and supernatural experiments of her childhood. But everything she hoped to escape comes back with a vengeance when she's kidnapped and tortured by a possessed madman out for revenge on the man responsible for his possession: Ryan's father.

Now, reunited with the lover she abandoned, Ryan is forced back into a world of danger and darkness she no longer understands, pursued by enemies with powers she can't fathom. But Ryan's not entirely powerless herself. She'll have to use every trick she knows—as well as the mystic gift she hates—to stay ahead of those enemies. And that will be easier said than done.

Excerpt

Jackson’s eyes shone in the dark when he turned to look at me. “You awake?” he asked.
I considered pretending to be asleep, decided it wouldn’t achieve anything. “Yes.”
            “You okay?”
I considered that too, not sure of the answer. “I don’t know. I’m exhausted. That’s all I can really say for sure right now.”
He was quiet for a while, just breathing softly again, and I wondered if he’d fallen asleep. Then he said, “I didn’t mean to bully you into coming to London, you know. If you want to stay here...”
“No, I want to come,” I cut in. “I can’t stay here.” Alright, that probably didn’t spin it in the best light, but Jackson didn’t seem to notice the back-handed compliment.
“I’m glad you’re coming. I’m glad you’re here. It’s not exactly how I imagined our reunion, but I’m still glad.”
I couldn’t be sure, but I thought he was smiling. Despite myself, I had to smile back. “And how did you imagine it? Us running across flower-filled meadows to kiss in the rain?”
“I don’t know, really.” There was a rustle of material and he pulled himself out of his makeshift bed of bundled-up towels and clothes and sat up, arms resting on his knees. He stared away from me now. “I guess I always figured you’d come home eventually.”
I twisted onto my side, propping my head up on my hand and tangling my fingers in my hair. “I wouldn’t have,” I whispered, heart aching for him. Why did he wait? Had he really believed I’d come back, knowing how much I hated Kimberlyn and APTT? Surely not. Guilt lanced me, like I’d stolen something from him. I suppose I had, in a way. Six years of his life, wasted on waiting for me.
“Didn’t I make you happy enough?” he asked.
My throat closed up and tears stung my eyes. “Jackson, don’t.”

About the Author
Naomi likes writing, perfume, fancy tea, and unfathomable monsters from the dark spaces between the stars, not necessarily in that order. She has been writing stories ever since she learned how to write, but is still trying to master the art of biography writing. When she's not dealing with werewolves, demons, or sea monsters, she's hanging out with her cat and probably watching a documentary about Bigfoot. If the cat isn't available, she's with her fiancé watching cookery shows and silently plotting her next book.

His Temporary Fix - Teaser 1

EXCERPT

“Don’t you need to go, Holly Jacobs?” Even the way he murmured my name was sexy. This was crazy. Add that to my track record of bad decisions and getting involved with Zack was dumb on an epic level. I was incapable of having a no-strings fling. For me, it was all or nothing, and this time I was going to make the sane decision.
“Why don’t you call me just Holly?” Asking him another question was harmless.
I saw a flash of white teeth in the darkness. “I like your name.” He sounded amused. “Is that okay, Just-Holly?”
Dear God. In the middle of his grief and distress, he still had a sense of humor. I really needed to escape before I found any more reasons to linger. But I didn’t move an inch.
“You sure you don’t want to come back to my place?” His whisper reverberated through me, turning my spine liquid and my knees to jelly. He shifted position slightly and I felt him trailing a hand up my back, the fingertips tiptoeing with excruciating slowness and precision.
“Zack, I don’t do one-night stands.”
“I’m here for two nights.”

StrappingAsh

For gentle Oak, his husband Ash is “the man he loved but wasn’t sure he always liked.”
The reappearance of Ash MacBryde’s old lover has sent Oak flying back to Vermont and into the employ of a man determined to win a chance to race at World’s in Dubai.
To Oak’s delight and dismay, the man who brought him out of the bolted closet is there too, working for the same man with the same end. They will be partners on horseback ... and if Ben Kincaid has his way, in other ways as well.
Someone holds a grudge against Oak’s new employer; and as the race approaches, the dirty tricks escalate until no one is safe.
Oak and Ben are in danger, and when Ash shows up to bring his man back home, there’s more at stake than just a shot at a million-dollar purse.
Maybe there’s just one sure way for the reclusive Oak to face his domineering, possessive man. It’s called STRAPPING ASH.

EXCERPT

After Ash MacBryde’s seeming betrayal, Oak Richards bolts for home, looking for a safe haven to work away the hurt. The last thing he plans on is MacBryde showing up like a bad penny. Their first meeting after weeks apart is… awkward.
Opening the stall door, Ash pointed to the leather pad and asked, “What were you doing?”
Oak squeezed past, trying not to touch any part of the man. He took his time arranging the grooming tools, putting off having to face Ash MacBryde, his throat nearly closing with anxiety and terror. All his plans, everything he wanted to say flew out the barn door, leaving him as tongue-tied and unsure as ever.
Finally finding the courage to stand and face the man he once thought of as his life partner, he nearly panicked as Ash closed the distance between them.
Stepping back, he held out a hand to warn Ash off. Embarrassed at his own cowardice, he tried to deflect his confusion by explaining, “That’s called strapping.” He waved in the general direction of the piece of leather in the bucket, then quickly crossed his arms over his chest to stop himself from touching Ash.
Ash looked from him to the horse. “Strapping.”
“Yeah. The impact, when you smack it down like that? It feels good.” He felt the heat rush up his neck to the tips of his ears. Jesus, I didn’t just say that.
Ash shuffled his feet and ducked his head as he fumbled in a pocket.
Oak asked, “What’s this?” as the tall man handed him a postcard and a metal object.
Brushing his hands through his hair, Ash mumbled, “That’s where I’m staying.”
Oak stared at the key and said, “Oh.”
“I was, uh, I was wondering…” Ash paused and swallowed hard, the motion making his prominent Adam’s apple vibrate with the effort. “I thought maybe we could have dinner…”
“Yeah, sure. Tonight?”
“Yeah.”
“Um, what time?”
“Eight okay?”
“Sure.”
Neither made eye contact as Ash turned to leave. His breath wispy, Oak barely managed to say, “It’s nice to—”
“What?”
“Uh, nothing. See you at eight.”
Oak watched the man turn right and head down the driveway, his heart pounding treble time. He fingered the key, a slow smile spreading across his face.

Nya Rawlyns is a writer, editor and hopeless optimist. She’s lived on a sailboat on the Chesapeake Bay, ridden more than 1000 miles in trail competitions on horseback and been owned by two Newfoundlands. She’s currently staff for a herd of cats and a herd of horses.
She writes edgy romance, where emotion is a contact sport, rough and often raw. It need not be pleasant, heart-warming or forever after. What she seeks is what lies beneath--a dance of extremes, the intersect of need and desire, and the compromises you make when pain and pleasure become indistinguishable.
