Join the party with Dylan and Nick

Dylan eyed the one and only invitation he’d received to a party that season. He’d found it stuffed under his front door the week before. The top floor apartment was holding a seasonal get-together that night. He sat with the scrambled eggs that he’d cooked for dinner in front of him. The invitation lay open beside his plate. I’ll go. It might cheer me up. There might be someone there—a guy—a sexy, gentle, good-looking guy. Then he laughed at himself—laughed at his continuous hope of meeting a man who would love him.

Later he pulled on Levis and a soft, dark-blue sweater. He went over the answers he’d given to the interview questions, as he dressed, worrying he’d not given good enough replies. All the same, Dylan told himself as he brushed his hair, he’d tried, and they’d call him early the next morning with their verdict so there was no long, drawn-out wait for disappointment.

He brought a six-pack of beer with him to the party. It was all he had in the fridge unopened. The young woman holding the party welcomed him and took the beer happily. Dylan joined the crowd that packed the apartment living room. Another young woman he’d seen in the building’s lobby brought a range of colored Jell-O shots on a tray to him.

“Strawberry, lime, and blackcurrant vodka. Take your pick.” She smiled as she twirled the tray around to show off each flavor.

Dylan shook his head with a smile. “I can’t drink vodka, but thanks. I was hoping to get a beer.”

The girl took his hand. “Come this way, sweetie pie.” She flashed him a sexy look. She brought him to a table laden with food, and at one end, misty bottles of beer. “They’re cold, but I don’t expect they’ll stay that way around you.” She flirted with him.

Dylan gave her a gentle smile. He couldn’t encourage her when what he needed was the feel of a man’s hard body and a kiss that blanketed him in masculinity. “Thanks.” He picked up a bottle and the opener that lay on the festive tablecloth. With the opened beer in his hand, he drifted away to gaze out of the window. Beyond lay the city where swathes of lights sent their aura into the sky and hid the stars.

Someone changed the Christmas music to a dance beat and people spun, leaped, and gyrated to the rhythm.

Dylan looked on from the corner. The place buzzed with the excitement of people determined to have a good time.

Then he saw the hostess. She had her arm linked with that of Nick Kringle and pulled him into the throng of people. In the other hand, she brandished a huge bottle of champagne. A red ribbon around the neck of the bottle streamed behind them as they danced among the partygoers until Nick saw him. Dylan’s heart gave a giant thump and then raced as Nick’s eyes locked with his.

Dylan couldn’t look away. Nick gazed at him with unconcealed interest. A ripple of happiness went over Dylan. Nick said something to the hostess and left her. He walked toward Dylan purposefully, his muscled body radiating sex. Dylan’s stomach muscles instantly tightened, and his cock jerked.

Nick stopped just about toe to toe with Dylan.

“Hi. What happened to your car?” His pupils widened, darkening his ice-blue eyes.

Dylan soaked up the sight. He is attracted to me. “I left it by the roadside until the morning. I couldn’t face standing in the cold waiting for a tow truck.”

Nick’s eyes filled with sympathy. “You might find it gone tomorrow. It might get towed by the city.”

Dylan shrugged. “The way I feel right now, I wish it would.”

“What else do you wish for, Dylan?” Nick’s voice was low and sexy.
The question, combined with the scorching look Nick gave him, sent a shock of tingling desire all the way through Dylan’s body. He knew right then they’d connect sexually for sure, sooner or later. He hoped it would be sooner. The words that formed in his mind weren’t to be spoken—hot sex, your cock, your ice-blue eyes gazing on me and your hard body rammed against mine, fucking hell—you…

Nick’s expression grew tender. “You know you’re standing under a huge bunch of mistletoe?”

Dylan’s entire body tensed as a wave of desire burned over him. He couldn’t tear his gaze away from Nick’s mouth. The way Nick moved even closer to him captured him in a web of attraction. Unbidden, a sigh of pleasure escaped him.

Nick trapped him, placing a hand on the wall over Dylan’s shoulder as he leaned in. He murmured as he closed the gap between their faces, “Hey, I think you’re gorgeous. Don’t be afraid. I want your kiss. I want to kiss you.”

Nick’s lips touched Dylan’s, soft, tender, searching.

Dylan’s breath left him. His sexual hunger surged and he pushed his arms around Nick’s neck, pulling him close to kiss him hard, and then linger in a shower of kisses—kiss after kiss, until his cock strained against his jeans and his ass clenched.

Nick drew away to look into Dylan’s eyes. “Fucking hell, I want you badly. Is there somewhere we can go?”

Dylan couldn’t believe his ears. He couldn’t resist. If he only got this night he’d take it. He needed this delicious man’s hands all over him. Lust reduced him to mush.

“I live two floors down. We can go there … if you want.”

Nick’s breath teased on Dylan’s lips as he answered. “I want. Oh yeah, I want. I want you naked with your cock pounding in my ass. I want your perfect lips around my cock. I want to kiss you breathless. Lead the way.”

Dylan doubted he could walk. With his thighs weak from the effect Nick’s words had on him, he made a move to step around Nick’s body. His hand brushed on Nick’s groin. A gasp flew from his mouth as he felt Nick’s massive hard column beneath the fabric of his pants. He whipped his head around to look into Nick’s eyes.

Nick’s expression surprised him. Love shone from the ice-blue gaze.

Dylan experienced a profound happiness. Guys in his past had never looked at him that way. Only lust and desire had burned in their eyes.

Nick grabbed his hand.

Dylan brought him into the corridor. “Let’s take the stairs.” A silence fell between them that sparked and crackled with sexual tension as their shoulders touched, and Nick tightened his grip on Dylan’s hand.

Nick opened the door to the passenger side of his vehicle. “In you go. I’ll be back in a few seconds.”
Nick left Dylan to climb into his car. He retrieved the package meant for the jeweler from his trunk, sprinted across the sidewalk to the smoked glass doors of the shop, and went in.
He took seconds to make the delivery, as predicted, and leaped into the driver side of his SUV.
“Dylan, you’re cold and wet. I have a spare jacket on the back seat. Why not borrow it?” Nick turned up the heat in his car as he cast an appreciative sideways glance at the delectable man beside him.
The soft sigh Dylan made told Nick a lot. Here was a man down on his luck, a man who didn’t want to borrow a jacket from a stranger as if he were a charity case. Nick wove through the traffic. He came to a halt outside the store, not caring that he stopped at no parking sign. “I wish you’d borrow it. Yours is saturated.”
Dylan shrugged. “They’ll understand. It’s been pouring with rain all day.” He alluded to the people interviewing him. “Thank you for your help.” He held out his hand.
Nick grabbed the offered handshake. He closed his eyes for a second to savor the touch of Dylan’s skin, and soaked up the shock of attraction that tingled through his body. Nick opened his eyes to see Dylan’s expression of pleasure. He gazed into the blue depths and knew. Dylan found him attractive. Dylan wanted him in the same way he desired Dylan.
“I have to go.” Dylan’s enticing lips moved.
Nick released his hand quickly, not wanting to appear creepy.

“Good luck with the interview.”

Dylan’s down on his luck, but Nick believes in magic. Hot new release #MMromance for Christmas

Make a Wish, E.D.Parr Erotic, romantic, a Christmas MMromance to make you tingle

It’s the day before Christmas Eve and gorgeous, happy, Nick Kringle is making deliveries on the main street of the city when a car breaks down at the intersection.
Amid the seasonal crowds and inclement weather, Dylan West gets out of his car and tries to push it to the side of the road.
Nick rushes to help him and comes face to face with the most delicious man he’s ever seen.
Dylan’s down on his luck, but Nick believes in magic.
Can wishes come true? You bet—especially if Nick Kringle has anything to do with it.

Who is Nick Kringle?
With a name like that you might think he’s the jolly old elf in red, but Nick is a gorgeous guy who just happens to have a touch of the supernatural about him. He drives a red SUV, he delivers goods, and sometimes they’re straight from somewhere special—a place of magic and kindness.
Nick is gorgeous, kind, generous, loving just the kind of man that down on his luck Dylan West needs to run into. Could it be fate that makes his car break down unexpectedly almost next to Nick on the busy main street full of hectic Christmas shoppers and travelers? Maybe…

Read an excerpt:

The city street glistened with rivers of red, green, bright pink, and white light thrown there by the stores and cafés decked out for the holiday season. Rain fell in drifting sheets as a chill wind ravaged the shoppers rushing from one place to another, some laden with parcels, others hunched against the weather in their winter coats.
Nick parked his SUV in the first available space, opened the trunk with the interior lever, and leaped out. He didn’t feel the cold unless snow lay knee deep on the ground and even then, he enjoyed the beauty, and the way a new white fall would change the light, way too much to complain about the chill.
As he ran around to the back of his vehicle, the squeal of tires braking hard and the clamor of honking horns made him spin around. In the junction behind him, standing motionless, was a stalled car. Other drivers surged around the stationary vehicle, making everything worse by taking space in the oncoming lanes so that everyone crammed dangerously together.
The driver of the offending vehicle edged out of his open car door, narrowly missed by a small car that chanced overtaking just as the lights turned red.
Nick cast a keen gaze over the man, registering his muscled body beneath an inexpensive suit and his thick dark hair, pushed back from his forehead so that the front spiked up. Nick watched the man lean into the open driver’s side door and attempt to shove the heavy vehicle to the side of the road. The man’s pants stretched over his hard ass and a sigh of appreciation escaped Nick. With one hand on the wheel, and the other lodged in the gap between open door and car, the man clearly needed help. Nick clicked the trunk of his SUV closed and jogged over to help.
“Hi, I’ll lend a hand,” he called to the stranded driver. The man straightened to answer and Nick was face to face with one of the most gorgeous men he’d ever seen. Nick never hid his emotions. They shone from his ice-blue eyes and exuded from his well-toned body. He smiled at the man in a way he knew and didn’t care broadcast attraction, desire—pure sex.
Apparently unaffected by Nick’s charisma, the man gave a grateful nod. “Thanks.” He leaned into the task of pushing the car out of the way, as the traffic lined up behind him, and the sky opened with a fresh punishing downpour.

Romance on the Go is a popular short story line from Evernight Publishing

Tease me please:
Nick’s gaze followed the man’s hands and then traced the planes of his handsome face. They stood close to a newspaper and magazine kiosk. The brilliant light from the neon tube snaking around the overhanging roof, and the blinking fairy lights, cast the man alternately in violet and then white illumination. Nick sighed inwardly at the perfect blue of the man’s eyes and the shapely mouth that he already ached to kiss. He introduced himself.
“Nick Kringle—pleased to meet you. Can I give you a ride anywhere?
